I'm presently on 50mg of Metropolo twice a day an of course Xarelto.I use an AliveCor EKG every morning and experience AFIB a day or two at a time every few days. Metropolol was discontinued, due to my pulse being in the 40s at times. Flecainide was discontinued and the patient was continued on metoprolol tartrate for control of her atrial fibrillation. By the way, this is the second time Ive tried flecainide and both times it did this to me. THEREFORE, MY BEST OPTION WAS THE ABLATION...........I WAS SOOOOOO READY! My a fib doesnt happen unless I drink too much caffe… I am wondering how long I would need to be following this plan in order to know if it will help to reduce the number or duration of my afib episodes? These medications are not usually taken together. I also have anxiety and this is triggering my anxiety even more.
