When I have over-active bladder and I take one patch and place It on my breast (yes, breast) and it will stay on well with minimal effort for days even when I take a shower. I know Oxytrol says only for women, but I needed some relief. I have noticed I do have a dry mouth now but I can over come that and I do recommend moving from one side to the other when you change it out as I think the spot can become sensitive. I found it took a day with the patch on before I noticed the change, but then I went from going every 1-2 hours to 3-4 hours. I didn't have the urgency during the day at all & could hold my bladder longer when necessary. I do not think they last 4 straight days I am changing out after about 3.5 days. I also take an oral med for overactive bladder, but since starting to use Oxytrol five months ago, I have seen a definite improvement. Disappointing. I WILL continue to purchase, for as long as it is available, at a reasonable price! The product does work, but you need to do your part too! I change the patch every 4 days and the medication seems to last me the full 4 days. They work better then pills I use to get from my doctor, but with no bad side affects.
