I have in the past been on a whole slew of medications (sometimes as many as 8 to 10 at a time) with no avail to my psychotic/bipolar behavior.Recently I was put on Seroquel 50mg 1-3 at bedtime and Paxil 10mg once a day… and believe it or not I AM HAPPY TO REPORT THAT I AM NOW A HAPPY FUNCTIONING ADULT!! After having continuous concentration issues that seemed to get worse I had switched 4 psychiatrists feeling unsatisfied with their care for me.I had been prescribed SSRIs and stimulants to combat anxiety, depression, and ADHD. Later on in my 20s I developed a opiate dependence, that went on for a few years then I checked myself into an inpatient program.During my time there, we discovered the initial reason I took the drugs was because they left me with energy during the day, but I was also able to sleep at night. Then I tried seroquel; 50mg of it knocked me out for 8 hours.When I woke up, I wanted to cry because of how happy I was for finally being able to sleep.

I need 100mg. What scares me, when I run out, I can stay awake for days but after about four days, I can get homicidal/suicidal, depending on what is stressing me at the time.I’m afraid because I’m now going through the withdrawal from oxycodone (5mg, 3x/day) and xanax (.25 mg, 3x/day).
And I do run every day, because I’m afraid the amount of food I eat is way too much.And I know it is. As I feel I’m already doing really bloody well for someone who can’t. But I’m maintaining it with my exercise. Should those be ineffective, a doctor may test certain antidepressants, which are considered safer than Seroquel.
I remained on that dosage for just over a year.
When I would try and remember things from yesterday it would seem like they happened months ago, my memory was a blur. The morning after I do take it, I have a very difficult time waking up, and I am groggy until around noon.If I weren’t dependent on quetiapine, I would stop taking it. However, around August 2011 I had sudden onset insomnia. If I don’t take it my insomnia will come back slowly after a few days. Will she do it?

I got prescribed an antidepressant in the morning, I’m not sure which one, I think it was ratio-venlafaxine but I could be wrong I’ve tried several, and I worked my way from 25mg to 100mg of seroquel, before reaching my required dose.At first it was great, I stopped taking my antidepressant because it made me feel socially awkward and uncomfortable, but for the next few years I was able to get a full nights sleep, all thanks to my little yellow friend.
