Thank you so much for your feedback. However, it has not been stored in an airtight container so it may have degraded somewhat.I wanted to offer a suggestion to you for the cream. Unlike granulated sugar, for example, matcha is very fine powder, so same 1 Tbsp.
It was unfortunately extremely sweet for my taste but I didn’t want to compromise the sugar because it will make the ice cream less scoopable but the matcha content on point !Hi Jessica! Spent a day in Uji and brought back a tin of the green gold specifically for making ice cream. Just noticed this recipe! Now you can replicate this unique ice cream at home! doesn’t mean the same weight as sugar (12 grams). So happy to hear you enjoyed this recipe! I tried to recipe (without ice cream maker – followed the recommended link). The packaging has no expiry date on it since it was filled from a larger bucket. Is your green tea ice cream grainy?
