I have to be very careful to maintain a good (not hard) buzz and definitely not get drunk because I start out good manic, but if I get too hard a buzz or worse, drunk, I get bad manic. I'm thinking of cutting back to 20mg for the same reason.This probably isn't good advice, and I've pretty much stopped drinking, but if I do drink I simply skip my medicine for that one night. Dizziness or drowsiness can cause falls, accidents, or severe injuries.Grapefruit and grapefruit juice may interact with lurasidone and lead to unwanted side effects. Like I said I'm going to keep it within 1 drink per hr (which is what I usually do anyway since I seem to "nurse" whatever I drink ha. But I smoke everyday. So I think you'll want to pace yourself when marathon drinking of you'll find yourself black out drunk by accident.Thank you! This is my personal opinion.On a more official note. Your doctor will need to check your progress at regular visits. It's social drinking at this point. I am on Trileptal 150mg twice a day and have been very recently put on Latuda 20mg in junction.

Consuming grapefruit juice or grapefruit while taking Latuda increases the risks of side effects. In addition, you should not take Latuda with grapefruit of grapefruit juice. Use the medicine exactly as directed.Lurasidone should be taken with food (at least 350 calories).It may take several weeks before your symptoms improve. Or if I know I'm going out later that night take the dose and then nap for a few hours since it makes me sleepy.I have done this as well....but I already knew one night missing my pills will have little to no effect on my stability. In 2013, the FDA approved it as a potential treatment for bipolar depression. That is my advice. Oral dosage.

I'm currently on 20mg and being on 40mg seemed to be a bit too much for me. Uses Rexulti. I don’t drink alcohol. Thank God I didn't succeed. There is no generic version of the medication.You should first read the medication guide provided by the pharmacist before taking lurasidone and whenever you get a refill. Alcohol and depression don't mix well. I haven't taken it(Latuda) when I drink, erring on the side of caution. Otherwise I get too tired being about, I don't have fun, and possibly throw up.
